Welcome to my blog for my trip to the Philippines!

Hi everyone. I just want to welcome you all to my blog. The purpose of this is to show everyone in the states what I am experiencing as I go on a mission's trip to the Philippines with the Bob Tebow Evangelistic Association. I got the idea from the blogs I did for the Poughkeepsie Journal in New York while I was playing professional basketball in Armenia and traveling throughout Europe. I never would have dreamed so many people in the states would have liked reading about what I was going through, but God always does things in unexpected ways! I was also able to take part in blogging while I was abroad in South Africa which I found many people enjoyed reading as well. I have gotten some amazing opportunities in my short 24 years of living to travel and see the world, but I have never gone on an actual mission's trip for the purpose of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to people who are literally dying to hear it. Wherever we go we can touch people in whatever we are doing, but to set aside time to go somewhere for this purpose has been a dream of mine. Any of you that know me and have followed me throughout my career in high school, college and professionally know my love for basketball, but even more so you know my one true passion, which is Jesus Christ. I haven't hidden that fact, nor do I ever intend to. God has been everything to me in my life and I a credit all my successes, struggles, joys and pains, all to the Lord. Since I have experienced so great a salvation, I want my life song to sing to Jesus Christ in all I do and spread that love to those who have never heard it so that they too may feel this joy unspeakable. My hope is that everyone in the states can follow me as I go through my journey in the Philippines, speaking about what is most important to me in life...where people will spend eternity. This blogging will take place based on whether or not I have a good internet connection while I am there. Either way, I will eventually have journal entries up-either as I am there or right when I return...just keep checking in..Thank you for logging on, and please feel free to post and respond to my writings!
